With the effects of Welfare Reform and rising living costs kicking in, we have had a busy year helping customers with their finances.
We have helped 181 customer and brought in £88,000 in extra income for them through benefit claims.
Our Money Matters Team offer a wide range of advice, from budgeting to help with benefit applications and assisting with repayment plans to help customers repay what they owe in amounts they can afford.
This year we have seen an increase in the amount of debt customers are in and we have been able to offer vital support to vulnerable customers.
The Team’s work has also brought in income of £75,400 owed to Leeds Federated, through housing benefit claims and discretionary housing payments.
