Our people are one of our most important assets and we want to help them grow and develop their skills.
This year, several staff took part in the Housing Diversity Network programme and were mentored by a member of staff from another Housing Association. The programme gives mentees valuable one-one-one support from a mentor who helps them take a fresh look at their career plans and personal development.
Other Leeds Fed staff took part as mentors and grew their coaching and mentoring skills.
We are also introducing Learning Pool, an online learning resource that all staff can access to expand their skills and knowledge. Learning Pool puts staff in charge of their own development with a wide range of topics available – from mandatory training to housing and management courses.
We aim to give our staff opportunities to grow their skills and develop as they move towards their career aspirations.
