Tony Pattison got behind on his finances due to long-term illness. Our Money Matters team stepped in to help him so that he doesn’t have to worry about his paperwork anymore.
In 2013, Leeds Fed employed two financial inclusion officers to increase the support available to customers. Since then, 275 people have been helped by the Money Matters team. The team give budgeting advice, help with benefit claims, arrange repayment plans with companies for customers and refer people for support such as employment and debt advice. The team’s work has helped people to stay in their homes, and lifted some of the stress and anxiety caused by debt.
We want customers to know that Leeds Fed is here to support them if they are struggling to cope financially.
