Building for the future
Growth is high on our agenda as we aim to help meet the need for affordable homes across the Leeds City Region.
This year we completed 30 new homes. These were a mix of shared ownership properties for sale and homes for affordable rent.
We have expanded our future development plans and aim to build 750 homes over the next five years. These will be a mixture of shared ownership, affordable rent and, for outright sale where this can help subsidise more homes for affordable rent.
This year, Leeds Fed made a successful bid for £3.5 million in grant funding from the new Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme 2016 – 2021 which will be used to help build 100 homes.
We have many schemes in the development pipeline including plans to build 44 new homes on land owned by Leeds Federated in Gipton and work has started on 33 homes at Newhall Gate in Belle Isle.
We are excited about our future development plans which will provide much-needed affordable homes across the Leeds City region.
