Giving customers influence

This year we reinvented our customer involvement approach after taking part in ‘Working Together’, a project run by the Chartered Institute of Housing to look at the future of tenant involvement.

Staff and customers collaborated and attended workshops to look at how we could redesign tenant involvement to make it more meaningful.

Afterwards, the Challenger Panel was created. It is a new way for customers to influence our services. The Challenger Panel is made up of a team of customers who work with our staff help us meet the challenge of delivering the best services.

They act as a ‘critical friend’ to the organisation, get to see how we run the business and help us evaluate whether we are meeting our targets for key services.

This innovative new approach is ensuring that we continue to put the needs of our customers at the heart of all we do.

We are currently looking for more customers who would like to join the Challenger Panel. To find out more, see the Challenger Panel video.
