Financial Report
In June 2015, the government announced cuts to social housing rents for the next four years. This meant that we had to make savings of £1.5m a year across the business.
We have achieved this by focusing on our core services, looking for ways to save money.
This year:
- Our comprehensive income was £3.6m
- We spent £2.9m on improving our homes
- £3m building new properties and;
- Saved £341,000 from money-saving ideas.
Despite the reduction in funding, we are pleased to say we have continued to offer good quality homes and have fulfilled our planned property maintenance programme for 2015/16.
