Admir Sarvan came to the HUGO centre’s job club for help with his CV. He now has a full-time apprenticeship with Keepmoat Property Services and has high hopes for his future.
The HUGO centre is the new hub for the training and personal development opportunities that Leeds Fed offers to customers and the local community.
Since opening in January 2013, more than 400 people have visited the HUGO centre with many returning regularly. It offers a weekly drop-in job club run in partnership with careers advice service igen, ESOL English classes, confidence training workshops and other fun activities like Zumba.
The HUGO centre has a digital hub equipped with laptops and free internet access. It is a UK Online centre and the HUGO team are on hand to help people get online and learn about social media, email and the internet.
