Local Offers bring change
Over the last year we have launched Local Offers for seven neighbourhoods we work in.
The Local Offers were put together after talking to our customers about the hopes, aspirations and priorities they have for the future for themselves and their families.
Local Offers set out how we will work with customers to improve neighbourhoods. They include environmental and boundary improvements, employment and skills training, help with money matters, community safety initiatives, and much more.
This year a range of community projects have taken place. We made environmental improvements to Woodville Square. A junior warden project was set up on the Stonegate Estate in Meanwood and youngsters helped to design a skate park for nearby unused land. Rosebank Rangers, an environmental after school club run in partnership with Hyde Park Source and Rosebank Primary School continues to be a success.
Leeds Fed works with local people and a range of partners including Groundwork Leeds, Leeds City Council, the Police and other community organisations to deliver its Local Offers.
We want the neighbourhoods our homes are in to be places people want to live and move to. Local Offers help us work towards this aspiration.
