Making a house a home

Muserat has lived in her home for 29 years. During this time she has had a series of adaptations made to the property to make it suitable for her. She has a health condition which has worsened over the years and the adaptations have made it possible for her to stay in her home.

We want our customers to have a home that meets their needs and enables them to keep their independence. The adaptations we provide help to make this possible.

Last year Leeds Federated completed.
– 154 minor adaptations
– 58 major adaptations

We pay for minor adaptations which cost under £1000. These could include grab rails, shower seats and creating wheelchair access. Major adaptation such as kitchens and stair lifts are usually funded through a Disabled Facility Grant organised by Leeds City Council and we contribute to the amount.
