Mike bought one of our Shared Ownership homes and is delighted with it. He was unable to get a mortgage to buy a property outright and feels that Shared Ownership was a great way for him to own a home.

During 2016/17, Leeds Federated completed ten homes for sale through Shared Ownership and we are significantly expanding our development plans across the Leeds City Region to help more people get on the housing ladder.

This year, we were successful in our bid to the Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme 2016/21 and secured Social Housing Grant to support 100 Shared Ownership and rent-to-buy homes.

We expect to complete 142 new homes over the 2017/18 year including properties for sale through Shared Ownership and others for affordable rent.
